Booking the Bar
​Hire
Bookings can be requested by Sailing Club, iSWIM, Brighton Explorers, Beach Tennis and adrenaline members. Hires must be for a member and not on behalf of another person/company.
It costs £80 for an eight hour booking, these are daytime or evenings periods;
Daytime slots: 10:00 – 18:00
Evening slots: 18:00 – 02:00

Party Prices
When the clubhouse is booked for a party prices are elevated roughly 35% above regular pricing.
This allows us to keep the hire charge low but all attendees (members and non members) are required to pay party prices. It's still a bargain and significantly cheaper than other spaces and venues.
Keyholder
Before a booking can be made you need to secure a keyholder that will be responsible for opening and closing. You can obtain a list of keyholders from your committee if you don’t know them already.
Wrapping Up
After your event, you and the keyholder have a joint responsibility to ensure the place is left as you found it. This means that you need to;

Stock the fridge

Drain the glass washer

Empty the glass and can recycling bins

Leave the place clean and tidy

Who can hire and for what
Bookings can be requested by Sailing Club, iSWIM, Brighton Explorers, Beach Tennis and adrenaline members.
Hires must be for a member and not on behalf of a third party person or organisation.
What can be hired for: events of first-degree relatives (parents, siblings, children, partners), for “corporate” events it can only be done for your own place of work or company.
What can’t be hired for: events for friends, external entities (companies, clubs, etc) where there’s no 1st degree connection with a member.
Availability
The club has lots of availability to hire but there are standing slots which are unavailable including;

Wednesday (evenings) all year round

Sunday (daytime and evening) all year round

Saturday (daytime) within the sailing season
