Sailing Club Sailing Schedule
Mid-Week Sailing
🕔 5 pm at the club
James Turner will send a poll on Monday with mid-week options (depending on wind/weather) and confirm which day will go ahead - provided there are enough volunteers and sailors - by the end of the day.
Try to make it down to the club for 5 pm, aiming to be on the water for 6ish and make sure your boat is back to shore in plenty of time before sunset.
Saturday Afternoon Sailing
🕐1pm at the Club
Rescue team to arrive for 1.30pm to hand over from LTS.
Sailors to arrive for 1pm to be on the water for 2pm - 4pm (approx).
Saturday - Learn to Sail
🕥10:45am at the Club
Instructor / rescue crew meet at 10.45am to run through safety boat checks etc
LTS arrive at 11am to start rigging.
Aim to be on the water from 12pm - 1.30pm (launching / landing help may be required either side of that) before derigging / handing over to afternoon sailing.
Sunday Racing
🕤 9:30 am at the Club
Everyone to arrive for 9.30am to be ready (I.e fully rigged, suited and booted) for race briefing at 10.30am so that you can help with the rescue boat launch immediately after.
On the water from 10.45am for first race to start at 11am promptly.
Off the water around 12.30/1pm.
